SIMPLE SENTENCE
A simple sentence
is a sentence which at least consists of a subject and a predicate. On the
other hand, we can say that a simple sentence is an independent clause because
it can stand alone and it expresses a complete thought.
Pattern:
SS = S + P
or
SS = S + P + O/C
in which,
SS
= Simple Sentence
S
= Subject
P = Predicate
(verb)
O = Object
C = Complement
